The Language Corner held every Wednesday by the International Student Support Desk
has been changed to every Friday.
Do you want to make friends?
Do you want to improve your English or Japanese language skills?
Do you want to talk to students from other departments?
The International Student Support Desk invites you to join Language Corner!!!

The International Student Support Desk holds Language Corner on every Friday.
We discuss various topics in either English or Japanese.
Language corner is perfect for people who want to improve your Japanese and English skills,
help others in improving their language abilities, or just make friends and talk to new people.
Join us and let’s have a fun time together!
You can bring your own lunch if you like!

 

◆Time (every week): Friday 12:15-12:45（From May 2024）
◆Location：Enreiso 1F Main Lounge
◆Eligibility: Hokkaido University international students and Japanese students
◆No registration is necessary to participate

Become a peer supporter

Hokkaido University takes applications for peer supporters at designated times throughout the year. Peer supporters are paid part-time staff (administrative assistant) of the university. Check out the peer support unit web site or come to the Center for more information.
