Valentine’s Day Party (SAWAKAI) By the International Student Support Desk

We will have a Valentine’s Day party in January.
In Japan, it is common for women to give gifts to men on Valentine’s Day.
The most popular gift is chocolates.
Some women prepare homemade chocolates.
But this event is NOT targeting only women.
Why don’t we make chocolates and celebrate the Japanese-style Valentine’s Day with us?
You must have a lot of final reports and exams, but it is time to rest!
Let’s enjoy making and eating sweet chocolates together!

*No reservations required.
*The event will end as soon as the ingredients run out.
*Please refrain from joining if you have allergies to wheat, egg, milk, and other severe ones,
　or have something you cannot eat for other reasons.
*If you have any questions about the ingredients or the event itself, feel free to ask us.

Place : Student Lounge (at Student Communication Station)
Eligible : Hokkaido University international student and Japanese student
Fee : Free

Become a peer supporter

Hokkaido University takes applications for peer supporters at designated times throughout the year. Peer supporters are paid part-time staff (administrative assistant) of the university. Check out the peer support unit web site or come to the Center for more information.
