Information about change the date of Language Corner sponsored by the International Student Support Desk

The “Language Corner,” held every Tuesday by the International Student Support Desk, is now held every Wednesday from May. 

Do you want to make friends? Do you want to improve your English or Japanese language skills? Do you want to talk to students from other departments? The International Student Support Desk invites you to join Language Corner!!!

The International Student Support Desk holds Language Corner (LC) on Wednesday.
We discuss various topics in either English or Japanese.
Language corner is perfect for people who want to: improve your Japanese and English skills, help others in improving their language abilities, or just make friends and talk to new people.
Join us and let’s have a fun time together!

 

◆Time (every week): Wednesday 12:15-12:45 (from May)
◆Location：106 Room 1F, Student communication station
◆Eligibility: Hokkaido University international students and Japanese students
◆Application:
　 Please come directly or apply by e-mail sent from your HOKUDAI e-mail address, include the
　 following information:1. name 2. affiliation 3. date and time of LC you want to participate in.
◆Deadline:
　by noon (12:00) on the day to e-mail you would like to participate
　or Please come directly.

Become a peer supporter

Hokkaido University takes applications for peer supporters at designated times throughout the year. Peer supporters are paid part-time staff (administrative assistant) of the university. Check out the peer support unit web site or come to the Center for more information.
